A day in Croke Park

The primary boys and girls of the club were delighted to be chosen to visit Croke Park on Wednesday April 11th. They were all able to showcase there skills on the hallowed turf and get a behind the scenes look at the famous stadium-Thank you to all mentors who coordinated the trip.

Irish Mass

The Irish mass for all deceased members was held on wednesday March 28th. It was very encouraging to see so many young people taking part. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the mass most especially the boys and girls of St Nailes primary school who sang beautifully as gaeilge. Ar dheis de go raibh a n-anamacha.

MacRory Cup Glory

Congratulations to St Michaels College on winning the MacRory Cup and most especially to our home grown players Conor Murphy, Colman Corrigan and James Allen. Also, well done to Dominic Corrigan for guiding the team to this success and for bringing them to the Hogan Cup final.

Youth Presentation 2011

The Youth Presentation night for the 2011 season took place in the function room of the Welcome Inn on the 20th of February. A large crowd turned out to pay tribute to the younger members of the club. We were also delighted to have the one and only Peter Canavan as our special guest.

Kinawley 10k Run

Kinawley GFC will be holding a 10K run on Saturday the 3rd of March in order to raise funds for the New Community Hall.
