As we all know, 2016 was one of the most memorable years in the club’s history for what was achieved on the pitch. To win one trophy in any year normally suggests success.
To win 4 at adult level and a further 6 at underage is something that will be hard to surpass in future, though it won’t be for the want of trying I hope. Competing in an Ulster final as well further highlights the hard work and ability that the club displayed.
This has been a momentous year for both adult teams in the club. The ladies have waited twenty three years to dominate football in Fermanagh and 2016 has not disappointed.
Our ladies have proudly put Kinawley on the football map in Ulster by deservedly progressing to their first Ulster Club Final in the twenty three years since formation.
It’s been a massive couple of months for the club with Intermediate Championship success for both the Men's & Ladies teams.
Our Senior men continue to succeed this season. To date, they have accrued 28 points and sit at top of league table with St. Pat’s.
Senior Men’s team has gone from strength to strength this season and currently sits at the top of Division 2 with 22 points from 11 games.
