Kinawley GFC

October 2017 Newsletter - Issue 19

Congratulations to both the Under 12 and Under 16 Boys who recently won Division 1 titles on the same day. Under 12 Boys defeated a tenacious Lisnaskea Emmett’s team and emerged with a two point margin. This was a hard-fought game but Kinawley justly earned the title.

Later, on the same cold autumn day, the Under 16 Boys met Derrygonnelly again and had a score to settle. This time, Kinawley set out their stall and worked tirelessly as a team to deny Derrygonnelly another title. On the day, Kinawley was the superior team and every boy wore the jersey with pride. The loyal supporters may not have felt their feet and hands but their hearts were bursting with pride.
