June 2017 Newsletter - Issue 15

June was dominated by the national U-14 Feile competition which took place on the weekend of the 23-25th June.

The club played host to Geraldine’s girl’s team from Co. Louth and Graiguecullen boy’s team from Co. Laois. The weekend proved to be a huge success, not only in Kinawley ,but all over the county and further. First of all, I would like to congratulate both our own boy’s and girls’ teams who reached the knock out stages of the cup competitions, with the boys reaching the semi finals and the girls in the quarter final. Well done to the players and the management of both teams. The National John West U-14 Feile competition takes place this month, and the club is proud to have teams entering in both the boys’ and girls’ competitions. The girl’s team will be playing in Kinawley on Friday 23rd June with the boys playing in Belcoo on the same day.
